Funding

We rely on donations to purchase specialist equipment such as training defibrilators and Resuscitation Annies. We also purchase uniform clothing for our volunteers and other consumables not provided by the Ambulance Service.

Donation to the group July 2014

A huge thank you to the committee of The Patient Involvement Group from Danbury Medical Centre who have very generously purchased two new iPAD training defibrillators and Junior Anne manequins and donated them to our group. We have recently been trained to respond to Paediatric patients (aged 2 yrs and above) and this equipment will really enhance our training.

During 2013 we raised in excess of £2600

In 2013 we raised funds to purchase a "Skill Reporting Anne" ® to enhance the training of our vulunteers whilst practicing CPR skills. It has proved a popular purchace as it allows the user to see how efficient their CPR and rescue breaths are.

We need to raise £2600 in order to be able to purchace the equipment.

This equipment shows the user how effective their CPR is in real time enabling the user to adjust pressure etc.

Our previous donors

In previous years we have received grants and donations from the following organisations, businesses or individuals and a number of these have again donated money for the purchase of the Skills reporting Annie. We are again greatly indebted to them.
