Civic award for Danbury First Responder

On Monday 3rd November at a presentation ceremony at Hylands House, Dave Spiceley from Danbury was presented with a "Highly Commended" Certificate by the Mayor of Chelmsford Councillor Robert Villa for his outstanding contribution to Voluntary Services for over 30 years, in particular his work as a Community First Responder. Dave is a founder member of our group when we formed in February 2002. He works tirelessly on behalf of our group and our communities. He has also been a Community First Responder assessor for a number of years. Gordon Wren the Coordinator said "I am immensely proud to have known and worked with Dave. Without his tremendous efforts our group would not be as successful as it is. Well done and congratulations to him.
